Today, we're excited to announce a significant change—we’re opening up selected adventures to the public, enabling even more people to experience Wilderness Union.
Why Membership in the First Place?
Membership began as a response to a specific challenge: if you love the outdoors and live in a city, finding your community can be tough with no natural gathering place.
While outdoor participation has surged, traditional hiking clubs and meetup groups haven't kept pace, often struggling to appeal to a newer, more diverse generation of explorers. These groups can feel exclusive or outdated, creating barriers for younger outdoor enthusiasts. This risks alienating a whole generation from the outdoors.
Wilderness Union was founded to bridge this gap—to create an inclusive space that attracts Gen Z and Millennial adventurers. Membership ensures that our community remains tight-knit and aligned, fostering genuine connections through shared experiences.
