Our 3rd Cooking Club Meetup is here. The idea is pretty simple: each month, we choose a cookbook, everyone cooks a different recipe from it, and then we all bring our dishes to share at a potluck.
In December, we’re exploring the fresh and contrasting flavours in Chinese cuisine, including a tour through other East Asian cultures, such as Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and fusion takes on the classics.
In Chinese Made Easy, UK-based TV chef & cookbook author Kwoklyn Wan — who literally grew up in Chinese restaurants — provides clear, uncomplicated instructions and accessible, supermarket-friendly swaps for traditional ingredients to make tasty meals at home. We'll cook everything from wontons and dim sum, noodles and stir-fries, to meat-based dishes like char siu pork and braised beef stew, and veggie recipes like crispy sticky tofu and spring onion noodles.
Whether you're looking to explore new ingredients, learn more about Chinese and East Asian cuisine or connect with fellow WU foodies over a delicious meal, this cooking club meetup is for you!
Please note that this is a member organized event!

Carbon Offsetting
Wilderness Union offsets the estimated carbon emissions of every trip by investing in a global portfolio of verified carbon reduction projects.
