The Epics are the five hardest, most remote expeditions on our calendar, and this hour is your chance to get the full picture before you decide.
We'll go through all five: the Brent Run's 80km paddle down the length of Algonquin with no contact with civilization, Ancient Temagami, the Western Uplands and the Lavielle Loop with its 5km Dickson-Bonfield portage, the longest in the park. Heaven's Gate is sold out, so we'll only touch on it briefly. We'll spend the most time on the trips that still have space.
It's also your time to ask anything. The question we hear most is "am I fit enough", so we'll talk honestly about what each trip demands and how to tell if you're ready, along with gear talk and anything else on your mind.
