Description

Join us for an incredible wilderness paddle in Ontario's pristine landscapes. Perfect for beginners, the trip is guided by an experienced canoe guide. We'll meet at a location, revealed on registration approximately 2 hours North of Toronto where we'll pick up our canoes. We'll get you fitted in PFDs then give you a quick canoe lesson for anybody who's not paddled before.

Then, the real fun begins. We'll paddle along a quiet lake then portage our canoes over a small waterfall and onto a gorgeous river that leads onto a much larger lake. We'll explore the shoreline, looking out for the otters that call this special place home. Lunch is on an island with the opportunity to cool off in the crystal clear water.

In a single day, you'll feel like you've truly escaped civilization, experiencing the raw wilderness of the Canadian Shield in a safe setting.. This is a Wilderness Union exclusive adventure that nobody else can offer.
