Description

A two for one trip where we'll be hiking a little known area with a surprise cave, followed by a trip to the famous town of Creemore.

We'll begin with a hike of 6-8km (depending on conditions) at a conservation area that takes us along a forest and meadows before leading through a rock face that will require a bit of a squeeze to emerge on the other side of a cave. This is a pretty easy hike with one steep section that leads us to an incredible view over the surrounding area. The hike through the cave is never more beautiful than when it's coated in a layer of snow.

Once we're done with our hike, we'll drive to nearby Creemore, where we'll visit the famous brewery, wander around, pop into cute shops, and soak in the small-town vibes.

09:00 - Meet shuttle near Keele Station

10:45 - Begin hike, eating lunch en route

13:45 - Drive into Creemore

15:45 - Head back to Toronto

17:45 - Anticipated return to Keele Station

This is a relatively easy hike that's made more difficult because of the snow. Make sure to reserve ice-spikes if you don't have your own!

Carbon Offsetting
Wilderness Union offsets the estimated carbon emissions of every trip by investing in a global portfolio of verified carbon reduction projects.
