An extra special New Year's Eve celebration for Wilderness Union members!
As 2025 ends and the next year begins, it’s time to get the gang together again - this time for a unique, Wilderness-Union-style celebration that you will not forget!
We are so stoked to announce that we’ll be ringing in the New Year at a true explorers’ paradise just south of the mighty Algonquin Provincial Park: The Haliburton Forest Reserve. This beautiful, expansive area stretches over 100,000 acres, with more than 100 lakes and a million trees (that’s a lot of trees). In addition, many of the incredible animals we know and love from our adventures call this place home… If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of one!
We’ll be staying in a large, cozy wood cabin complete with camp-style bunk accommodations, a big communal kitchen and common areas. It will be the perfect launch pad for our adventures and restful return sanctuary after a long day of exploring.
What you can expect:
You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Haliburton Forest Wolf Sanctuary for an additional fee on site. Here, you can learn about these incredible animals in a unique setting
So ready your glass with champagne (or apple cider) as we count down to 2026 and give a toast to this amazing community!
