Adventure Description

We've scheduled a second day trip to the Bruce Peninsula after our March trip booked up almost immediately. The area is full of unique, dramatic landscapes with stark cliffs and views over the enormous Georgian Bay.

We're starting the day off by visiting the Grotto, perhaps the most famous natural spot in the province and extra special at this time of year because we get to experience it without the crowds of tourists. We'll hike through the forest then along the beach, ending up at the incredible rock formations and crystal clear waters of the Grotto.

After lunch, we move on to Lionshead Park for a 7km hike to the lookout for a mind-blowing view over the scenery.

This will be a long day but one that is totally worth the drive for what is a bucket-list item for many.
