The Orono Crown Lands are a hidden gem just an hour away from Toronto. This 10km hike sees us following a really pretty creek, meandering through stands of red pine and over an abandoned railway line. It's an easy hike with enough scenery to keep anyone interested.

Because this hike is East of the city we'll be doing a downtown pick-up so you won't need such an early start.

Dogs are welcome on this trip if you're self-driving but must be on-leash at all times.
09:30: First pick-up at the Petro Canada gas station next to Keele Subway if you’re getting a lift.
10:00: Second pick-up near Union Station.
11:30: Arrive at car park and trail head, meeting anybody who’s making their own way.
11:45: Begin hike. We’ll eat lunch en route.
16:00: Wrap up hike and arrive back at trail head. Wait for transport pickup if needed.
17:00: Drop off back at Keele Subway Station
