Download Map

This custom map is georeferenced, meaning it will show you where you are on the map in the right software and lays out the rough path that we’ll be following. It’s opened with the Avenza app which must be downloaded and installed in advance of the adventure.

You should also download the What3words app - this makes it easy to share and find locations in the unlikely event that you get lost.

Weather Forecast

Looking pretty good. I'm optimistic the rain will keep away!

What to Bring

Clothing:

Appropriate footwear is a must!  A riding boot is the gold standard, but any shoe with a small heel will do.  DO NOT wear flip flops or sandals!  Long pants are also recommended, and its good to keep in mind that it can be a good deal cooler/colder at The Ranch as we usually have a windchill you won’t feel in the city.  Bug spray and sunscreen are also (seasonally) a good idea.

Food

The ranch will be serving what I assume will be pretty basic meat and vegetarian burgers. If you'd like salad, or anything additional please bring.

Those not driving are welcome to drink so pack whatever you like.

Please let me know asap if you have dietary requirements not listed here:

Rented Gear Info

The Ranch will supply horses, tackle and riding helmets.

Additional Fees/Reservations

Dangers and Mitigation

Horse riding is an inherently dangerous activity. Please follow all the instructions from our guides at the ranch.
