You know that Wilderness Union loves nothing more than a secret spot that feels distant from civilization. You may have heard whispers that we have a place like that in the city, WU's Secret Party Yard...
We're throwing our biggest party yet for this summer social and BBQ. We'll have a bonfire, cook up some food and bring campsite vibes to Toronto for the evening. Think campfire activities in the city - we'll provide basic meat and veg options for the BBQ, condiments, buns, cookware and soft drinks. If you'd like to bring anything more fancy or your favourite BBQ item this is strongly encouraged.
We'll have lawn games, a storytelling circle where members can share favourite trip memories or give shoutouts to friends, a DIY paracord bracelet station and even prizes and discounts from MEC. Instruments are welcome if you would like to contribute to the musical atmosphere.
You are also welcome to bring your own food to share. Please note that we have members with allergies to nuts, soy, and shellfish, so please do not bring these items. We also ask that all contributions be clearly labeled with any allergens.

You're going through the gates to the industrial yard opposite Nickel 9 distillery. Turn right when you come in and head to the back where you'll find us. If you have any trouble finding it, ping us on the Discord chat.
There'll be music, food and some entertainment courtesy of the social organizers.We're providing food, soft drink, cookware - you're responsible for any other drinks, fancier food and good vibes. If you drink, don't drive. There's TTC access and bikeshare stations nearby.
PLEASE NOTE - there are no toilets on site (we told you this was camp style) so you're strongly advised to go beforehand, bring a shewee or otherwise it's a 5 min walk to the closest Tims!
