Join us for a dawn walk in High Park to learn about the birds in the area and clean up their habitat at the same time.

Birding is real-life Pokemon. Once you start noticing birds, your experience in the outdoors is transformed and you'll start seeing them everywhere. Basic starter pokemon are common birds like Sparrows and Cardinals and as the season and location changes you'll find ones that are more rare. You'll soon appreciate their beauty and have your favourites.

The park gets pretty covered in trash so we'll be picking up waste as we go. Gloves, trash bags and litter pickers provided. If you have binoculars please bring your own.

You'll learn about and spot:

• A variety of birds like hawks, bluejays and woodpeckers
• High Park's Black Oak Savannah
• The flora and fauna
• High Park's history

We'll take no longer than an hour so you can get to wherever you need to be nice and early.
